Ladder Rack Compatible With BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover on 2023 Ford Maverick

Hello, I was wondering if the Tonneau Cover Adapter Kit ITEM # Y01155 is needed with a Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover with Yakima Overhaul HD racks for a 2023 Ford Maverick.

The OverHaul HD ladder rack is not compatible with the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK52RV on your 2023 Ford Maverick because the MX4 does not have accessory rails to fit the OverHaul adapter. You can still use a similar rack with the MX4, but it would be the TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX76NV.

The Elevate # TX76NV has bars that can be mounted at either 18" or 28" and has a 500 lb capacity, which is actually a couple hundred pounds more than than the OverHaul. The Elevate also has T-slots just like the OverHaul so you can use any channel-mounted accessories you might have.
