Recommended Tonneau Cover Compatible Ladder Rack For A 2023 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

I have a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali with a undercover ultra flex hard tonneau. I wanted to know a compatible rack system for two kayaks ?

From what I can see for UnderCover Ultra Flex hard-folding covers they sit inside the bedrails and slightly cover the bedrail cap so you would be able to use a stake pocket mounted ladder rack like the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH94RE (8' Bed # TH43002XT-780). The bases of these ladder racks sit on top of the bedrails, making them compatible with your tonneau cover.

These racks have a 1,250lb capacity, which is well over what you'll need for two kayaks and come with 4 load stops that can be used for tie-down points. If you'd like a bit of extra length out of your rack to help support the kayaks you should also check out the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever # TH44RE (8' Bed # TH43002XT-780EX) which comes with a cantilever that extends over the cab of your Sierra.
