Hello, wondering what the difference between the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 and the Thule T2 Pro X are, and which one youd recommend if Im looking to mount only road and gravel bikes?

I recommend the Thule T2 Pro X # TH83GC over the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22B - there really isn't much of a contest between these two.
The Sherpa 2.0 definitely looks prettier, but it falls behind to the T2 Pro X on most categories when it comes to fitment with bikes. The only thing the Sherpa 2.0 really has on the T2 Pro X is the integrated cable locks but if you add the Thule Lock Core Kit # TH450200 so the ratcheting arms can be locked. Here is a breakdown of the key features I'm looking at when comparing these 2 bike racks:
T2 Pro X
- Weight Capacity Per Bike: 50 lbs
- Compatible Wheel Size: 20" - 29"
- Compatible Wheelbase: 49"
- 2-Bike Add-On Compatible: Yes, with part # TH55GC
Sherpa 2.0
- Weight Capacity Per Bike: 40 lbs
- Compatible Wheel Size: 25" - 29" (need adapter # 016-025-00-00 to increase range to 20' - 29")
- Compatible Wheelbase: 47"
- 2-Bike Add-On Compatible: No
