Question:

Can one use the Thule Hullivator with a 2017 Jeep Cherokee ? We have at present Mopar crossbars that are likely not wide enough

The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 can be installed on any roof rack with 4" - 8" of crossbar overhang in relation to the towers of the roof rack (see attached).

If your 2017 Jeep Cherokee doesn't have long enough crossbars then I recommend installing the Thule WingBar Evo system which includes the following parts:

- 47" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220
- Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401
- Lock Core Kit # TH450400 (optional)

With this system you might have to shift the bars to one side to get enough clearance, but it will still work great. I really like the Thule WingBar roof rack system because it looks good, installs easily, and is confirmed to work with the Hullavator whether you choose to use the clamps or the T-Slot install method.
