Question:

I have a Global Link Ultra E Lock in my truck camper. It’s a poor design, very hard to open, seems cheaply made and no deadbolt. I’m looking for a high quality replacement with deadbolt, that is easy to open. The one I have is keyless. I am not necessarily concerned about a replacement being keyless. That’s optional. Security of a deadbolt and ease of operation are important. The cutout for the existing lock is 3.75” high by 2.75” wide. Please provide your recommendation. Thanks

With your cutout hole being 3-3/4" tall x 2-3/4" wide the best option is going to be the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019. This lock comes with a dead bolt for added security and having replaced a bunch of door locks with these and the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock # BA54FR I can confirm that these have a bit thicker of a body and rounded edges to give you a better grip.
