Question:

I own a Kuat Sherpa 1-1/4” bike rack and I’m forced to purchase a 2” hitch for my Genesis GV70. No one makes an 1-1/4” hitch for this vehicle. So, can you recommend a 2” to 1-1/4” adapter that fits snugly in the hitch and eliminates excessive swaying of the rack?

Kuat actually makes an adapter specifically for this purpose and it will work great with your Kuat Sherpa bike rack like the # SH12G.

The Kuat Bike Rack Shank Adapter # D101 installs directly onto the shank of your 1-1/4" Sherpa bike rack with a couple bolts. This allows for a more stable adaption than a loose sleeve that slides into the hitch receiver.

We currently do not have any hitches confirmed to fit your 2022 Genesis GV70.
