Question:

I have a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with a naked roof. I am ok drilling rails into the vehicle, but am wondering if this length of tracks is ideal for my vehicle. Please advise. Thanks.

The Yakima 60" HD Tracks for Roof Racks # Y74MR was designed to be used on truck bed rails or truck bed caps. It was not intended for use on the roof of a vehicle. That being said, it does not mean that you cannot do it. It simply means that there is no guide as to which vehicles it would be a good fitment for.

I did take a look and did not see another roof rack option, so installing tracks would be a good option. But, you will need to measure your roof to ensure you have the space. The Yakima 60" HD Tracks for Roof Racks # Y74MR are 60" long and 2" wide. You will also want to check if your roof is tapered and if it is you will want to start where the roof is the most narrow and then measure how much length you have. I was not able to locate the roof length of your Pacifica myself.

If you determine you have enough space, this would allow you to use the Landing Pad 26 for Yakima SkyLine Towers # Y75ZR (x2), with the SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y72TR (x2) and the Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00426.

I have included the installation instructions for the Yakima 60" HD Tracks for Roof Racks # Y74MR and you will also want to check the owners manual for your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica to ensure that you are ok to add a roof rack to your vehicle.
