Are Cargo Carriers Like C18109 DOT Certified?

I purchased this last year and I am happy with it. But I need to know if it is DOT certified. Thanks

Glad to hear you've enjoyed your Curt Cargo Carrier # C18109!
The Department of Transportation does not have any specifications or tests for testing cargo carriers so you're cargo carrier and the rest on the market do not have any sort of DOT certification as there isn't one.
The only tests they get are load related to determine the load capacity of the cargo carrier.
