Roof Awning Recommendation for a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek with an OEM Roof Rack

Question:

I have a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek with the OEM Crossbar Set Aero Part Number: E361SFL400. I am really interested in this product: Rhino-Rack Dome Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - 8 2 Long x 8 4 Wide - RR32125 Would you happen to know what hardware I would need to attach this to my existing roof rack system? Or if it is even possible to do so? Thanks so much in advance for your assistance.

The Rhino-Rack Dome Awning # RR32125 will fit the OEM crossbars on your 2023 Subaru Crosstrek if it has T-Slots on the top. From what I'm seeing about the part E361SFL400 you have on your Crosstrek it doesn't have those T-Slots so we need to find you an alternative awning, and for that I recommend the Yakima SlimShady which I recommend in the following sizes:

6-1/2' x 6-1/2' - # Y36VR
8' x 8' - # Y96VR

These are more of a standard flat awning but they use clamps to connect to the roof rack so they will fit perfectly fine with your OEM crossbars as you can see in the linked video.
