so this hitch will bolt on to my 2008 subaru outback? what about wiring harness?

For a similar hitch that does fit your 2008 Subaru Outback we have the Draw Tite part # 75560 which has the 2 inch opening. Then for trailer wiring the harness I would recommend is the Tekonsha part # 118461 which installs easily and has a very reliable converter box.
