Question:
Looking for a camera to go on back of 28’ enclosed trailer hooked up to 40’ motor home. 70’ overall length “Wireless “ Might have to have booster?

Expert Reply:
There aren't separate boosters for RV observation/back-up cameras, so realistically a wireless camera is not a good option. At 70 feet, through an enclosed trailer and motorhome, the signal would be, at best, intermittent. You would have to go with a wired camera, like the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-770613-213.
This has a 26' monitor cable and 66' camera cable, and 12' pigtail, so you could make it work, but it would require routing the cables and drilling holes. That's far from ideal, but to use a camera system on an enclosed trailer with those distances, there just isn't a wireless system that you're going to be happy with.
