Question:
Hello, do you have a heat shrink tube that will accommodate size 12 and 16 stranded wire? How should I make a weather tight three-way wire connection? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The heat shrink tubing for a 12 gauge wire is 1/4" diameter like the Primary Wire Heat-Shrinkable Tubing part # DW05448 and the heat shrink tubing for a 16 gauge wire is 1/8" diameter like the Primary Wire Heat-Shrinkable Tubing part # DW05452. There isn't one tubing that will cover both sizes well.
I'm not really sure what you're doing but if you'll be attaching three wires together, I would just use 3-way crimp connector which can be obtained locally and heat shrink each of the wires separately to the connector. That said, I again don't really know what you're doing so it's difficult to advise on install practices outside of just general tips.
