Question:
Just purchased ThuleVertex 9028 to fit the hitch on my 2012 Volvo CX60 I have two beach cruisers with heavy frames and wide wide handles Can the rubber cradles on the carrier be re positioned a few inches to accumulate these nonstandard frames?

Yes, you can move the rubber cradles on the Thule Apex bike rack # TH9024XT. It is not easy to do because otherwise the cradles would move when the bikes are loaded and you are driving down the road. You have to grip them and then twist back and forth while pushing/pulling them to the desired position. It helps to either put your foot on the rack to hold it down or have someone hold it while you manipulate the cradles.
