Question:

Hi, I have a 2023 GMC Terrain AT4 Trim with factory raised side rails. Im looking for a roof rack system that will allow my moon roof to open fully with the roof rack system installed. I was hoping you might be able to confirm whether or not you have a rack that will afford that, and if you would be able to tell me the clearance between the cross rails and the opened moon roof on that make/model of vehicle. Im asking for the clearance so I can confirm whether or not accessories I already own will still be able to mount to the cross rails. Thanks in advance for the expert assistance! TH711220,TH710401

You will be able to open the moonroof of your 2023 GMC Terrain with factory raised rails when using the Thule roof rack that fits, which consists of the following part numbers:

- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220

- Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401

And while I have no way of knowing the distance from your opened moonroof to the bottom of the crossbars, I can tell you the distance from your closed moonroof to the bottom of the crossbars is 2-3/4 inches. Hopefully you can use that measurement to help determine if the accessories you currently have will work.

The only other thing I wanted to mention is that if you'd like to lock the rack to your Terrain to provide security, you'd need the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400.
