7-Way Blade to 7-Pin Adapter for Towing a Trailer with A 7-Pin Connector

Question:

Is 7 blade and 7 pin wiring diagram the same. My truck has a 7 blade rv connecter and I need to pick up a trailer with a round 7 pin harness. Would a 7 to 7 adapter work ok to get the trailer home.

The wiring for the 7-Pin connector is different than the 7-Way blade connector. You will need an adapter to make the two different styles compatible. You can use the Adapter 7 Way (Blade) to 7 Way (Round Pin), # 47595. The blade end plugs into the 7-Way on your vehicle and the trailer round pin 7-Way will plug into the receptacle.
