Question:
Good Day, I am replacing the hydraulic disc brake controller on my Ranger bass boat trailer. The actuator I just removed is a UPF #34043 your part #DX27FR. Can I substitute the Dexter item #DX29FR as the replacement by removing the outer jacket? The dimensions of the UPF actuator I’m replacing are 16 ½” long X 3” wide X 3 1/8” deep and it fit snugly inside the tongue. The inside dimensions of the tongue are 3 3/16” height X 3 1/16” wide. The mounting holes in the trailer frame are 9 7/8” center to center. The front hole is oblong and measures 1 7/8” X 3/4”. The rear hole is 3/4” diameter. Thanks for your help,
