Is There a Supplemental Braking System That Can Use an OEM Brake Controller in a 2015 Ram 3500

Question:

Do they make a supplemental brake system for flat towing a 2014 wrangler unlimited that utilizes the stock brake controller of a 2015 ram 3500? I just dont want two brake controllers in the truck if I dont have to. And I dont want to bend the inner arms of my falcon 2 tow bar anymore.

No, unfortunately there is not a supplemental braking system that will utilize the stock brake controller in your 2015 Ram 3500. A trailer brake controller and a supplemental braking system work in different ways, which is why there is not a system that will use your stock brake controller.

I do have an option for you though. The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 is a permanent install supplemental braking option, this means that you will not have to put in and remove the braking system each time you flat tow your 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The # SM99251 also will not require you to have another brake controller in the cab of your Ram.
