Can Curt Hitch With 525 lb Tongue Weight For Hyundai Tucson Carry 514 lb Motorcycle & Carrier
Published 01/13/2023 >
Question:
Good morning, I have a question regarding C13240 It says it has a tongue rating of 525lbs. Does that mean it would be sufficient for supporting a motorcycle carrier that is 98lbs with a 416lbs motorcycle sitting on the carrier? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Yes; since your motorcycle and carrier weigh a combined 514 lbs, the 525 lb tongue weight capacity of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13240 will be sufficient.
So long as you do not exceed the tongue weight you're good to go, and you have a bit of weight to spare.
