2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness hitch. Looking for recommendations w info about rear recovery point access, tow brake controller, loosening bolts, cracked frame members, etc. Im hopeful the Gen 6 Wilderness towing and hitch learning curve has discovered problems.

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e25TR. I recommend this hitch as it has a hidden design which will look the best when installed, only the receiver will be present not the crosstube which is hidden. It doesn't have as high of a weight capacity as some of the other options but this won't really matter as it still exceeds the vehicle's capacity which is the limiting factor. It does not require any drilling for install which makes for a bolt-on fit.
If you'll be towing then you'll also need a few other items which I have listed for you below:
