How To Remove The Battery Compartment Lid On The Performance Tool Power LED Safety Flare

How do I get to the battery compartment? Ive taken the screws out, device wont come apart?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with Performance Tool and they let me know that the battery compartment on the PT Power LED Safety Flare w/ 5 Light Patterns - Magnet Mount # PTW2368 is held in by those two screws that you already removed. They go on to mention that the lid is going to be a pretty tight fit to keep the moisture and dust out, however the lid should lift out once pressure is applied to the tab on the side.
Attached is an image that shows a pen pointing toward the tab.
