Is There a Way to Ensure You Are Not Hitting Wires When Installing MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps

Question:
Attaching to my 2021 Stealth toy hauler. The underbelly is a closed area for cold weather. How do I ensure that the lag bolts are not hitting anything such as wiring. Thanks

When installing the MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps # MR85HR, there is not a set way to ensure the screws are not hitting anything such as wiring.
That being said, the MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps # MR85HR do not use lag bolts for installation. There are 2 brackets that will be installed using 4 screws. The steps then connect onto those brackets. The screws are not overly large and the location in which they are installed is not likely to have wiring in the way.
Typically the enclosed underbellies can be accessed for maintenance work. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I would recommend having a certified technician do the installation.
