There would not be any additional fuses for the brake lights and turn signals for the trailer wiring on your 2006 GMC Sierra. There may be relays related to the tow package that could be bad if the fuses were blown. I would check your owners manual or your fuse boxes to look for any relays related to the tow package and replace them as well. I could not locate a copy of an owners manual for a 2006 GMC Sierra, so I do not have specific locations if they exist.
Another possibility may be damage to the trailer wiring. You will want to inspect the wires coming out of the back of the trailer connector on your truck. If the wires are cracked, pinched or damaged, that could cause a short and explain why the fuses were blown.
