Replace or install a new fitting on a Valterra ABS plastic fresh-water tank. 90-Degree elbow has a collar to attach to 1-1/2" MPT inlet on the tank and a barbed connection for 3/4" hose.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this fitting for your Valterra ABS Freshwater Tanks. Now this fitting is going to work as a new or a replacement port on your ABS plastic tank. And the 90 degree connection is going to allow the hose to run parallel to the tank before feeding into the tank. Now the one and a half inch FPT collar is going to fit freshwater tanks.
I'm gonna go ahead and just assemble this real quick so you can see what this is going to look like when this is all put together. So this one and a half inch FPT collar is going to fit freshwater tanks with a one and a half inch MPT connection. And this is going to be compatible with the Valterra ABS tank fitting that you see there on your screen. If you are interested in taking a closer look at that fitting, I am including our item number. You can just take that item number and put it in the search field to our website, and that will take you to that fitting.
The three quarter of an inch barbed connection is going to fit your three quarter of an inch inner diameter hoses. You will need a hose clamp for a secure fitting. And this is constructed of black polypropylene, so very durable. And I thought maybe some measurements would be of a further help to you as you're considering if this is going to work for you. So on your screen, I am including a little diagram, showing you the measurements from the larger end to the bottom of the pipe there.
This measures just about two inches, while that threaded portion measures about one and three quarters inches. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope the information was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Solid part and worked perfectly in placement in my custom built skargo trailer on my maiden 6 week voyage thru NM, Co, Utah and back to Texas.
I used this in our camper van for the connection into a 6 gallon gray water container from the sink. It fit perfectly for the cap to screw down on top of it. It also connected well with the drain hose from the "Exterior Evacuation Drain Trap" that screwed onto the sink drain.

Works great! Used on an aquarium return pump. I must say I really like the design as I can adjust the direction as I tighten the fitting.
