Recommended Hitch and Installation Instructions for a 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV

Question:
Hello. My bolt EUV has a third brake light right above where it looks like I would have to trim the fascia. Can you confirm I have to trim it? If I do have to trim it is it a small enough area that it will not interfere with this third brake light? Thanks.

I took a look at the instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C38DR. The piece of the fascia you are cutting into is behind the panel the third brake light is attached to. There is a gap behind it where the hitch will protrude from but you need to remove 1-1/8" of the fascia so the hitch doesn't rub. This piece you need to remove will not affect your third brake light.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C38DR is confirmed to fit the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. It is custom fit and bolts to your Chevy with included hardware.
I really like this hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper cover and leaves only the 2" x 2" receiver visible.
