The first thing you are going to want to do is consult the owners manual for your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe for specific information on the use of chains.
We have several options for tire size 235/65-17. For the best traction use square link chains # PWE2211SC. Square links offer the best grip. These chains are also reversible meaning if they ever wear out on one side you can just flip them over and its like a new set of chains. Because they last a long time and offer the best grip they come with a higher price tag. They also are not Class S rated which means they will not fit on vehicles that have clearance restrictions around the tires.
For Class S rated square link chains at a lower price we have Titan chains # TC2319. These types of chains and the square link chains above are great if you need chains frequently and/or live in an area where chains are required by law.
If you would use chains infrequently and/or do not live in an area where they are required by law then I reocmmend investing in some cables, # PW2016C. They do not have the longevity or traction of square link chains but they will do in a pinch. I also recommend rubber adjusters # PW99 to maintain the positioning and tension on the cables. They are also Class S compatible and at a lower price than either set of chains above.
These are the basic options: chains, cables, Class S and not Class S rated. Since there are so many options this simplifies it for you. I have included a link to our FAQ articles on tire chains for you as well with additional information.
