Yes, the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 can be used with a factory installed Gooseneck Ball # C60618 on your 2018 Ram 3500. Do remember you will also need the Safety Chains # AM3109 as you are switching to a hitch ball connection.
I recommend using the Slide Hammer # AM3103 to aid in the installation of the coupler. It will make is easier to seat the inner threaded collar on the king pin.
