Question:

I have question about Item# 37230BL. I need to rack two 40lb propane tanks and think this item will work if I replace the rod with a longer one. Can you tell me what the thread measurement is so I can see if a replacement rod would be available that would work for this item? Or can you recommend how I can mount two 40lb tanks and the regulator? Thanks in advance.

The Complete Propane Tank Holder Mounting Kit # 37230BL uses a 1/2-13 Threaded Rod # 37207-30525 for carrying two 30-lb tanks. You will need a taller threaded rod to hold your 40lbs tanks. I recommend using a Cover Diamond Plate Silver # 290-2714 or White # 290-2114 to cover the 40lb tanks on the mount.

The Bauer Products Propane Tank Lock # BA62VR will allow you to secure the tanks while on the mount.
