Is Blue Ox Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter Compatible with a Sidewinder Pin Box?

My 5th wheel has a Sidewinder replacement pin box. Im interested in this hitch because of how light it is. Can it be used with the Sidewinder? Thanks for your help.

If you use the Sidewinder in the locked-out position so it's like a standard pin box then you can use the Blue Ox Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BLU52XR, but if you're needing to use the rotating turret feature for increased turning clearance we need to look at another option as the Blue Ox will basically just spin on the gooseneck ball since that's the only connection point.
To continue to use the turret I recommend checking out the Demco Recon # DM8550043 which is pretty similar in style and can be taken apart into pieces for easier loading/unloading. To use this with a Sidewinder you need the Custom Wedge Kit # SWW-05.
This Recon installs on industry standard base rails so if you have something different on your truck let me know and I'll be happy to make a different recommendation!
