Can The LaSalle Bristol XTRM EXP 90 Adhesive Be Applied Over The Old Adhesive?

Question:
Can this adheasive be applied over the old adheasive that is on my 5th wheel roof or do I need to resheeth with 1/4in ply then apply this for my new xtrm roofing?

The LaSalle Bristol XTRM EXP 90 Adhesive for RV Roofs # 344270341415 must be applied to a clean and porous surface. So you will not be able to apply the adhesive to itself. You must either sand the surface clean or apply the new roof sheathing.
