Question:
I have a 2020 Chevy Traverse High Country Edition, front wheel drive with adaptive cruise control. Can this vehicle be flat towed. If so can you provide a list of all components I would need? I saw a previous article from you on this but don’t know how old it is. Blue Ox components are preferred unless there are better products out there now. Thanks, appreciate your assistance.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse can be flat-towed behind a motorhome with all four wheels down per the owner's manual. In order to do so you'll need a few different items such as a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring harness, and a supplemental braking system. I have attached a list of each of these components below.
Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX1738
Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar part # BX7380
Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit part # BX8848
Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord part # BX88206
Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR
Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit part # RM-9332
