Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at the add-on metal side table for your Yakima Exo system Open Range Camp Kitchen. So if you already have the Yakima Exo open range kit, but you have the base version, without all the other add-ons, this is the separate add-ons to get the different features you might be looking for. So of the two available tables, this is the metal one. And this is a great spot to put your stove, because of the heat resistant metal as well as some other fun accessories. So with your base kit, you already got these pole accessories.
So they have a thin pole at the end, which allow them to work with your add-on table. So your metal table will have one, two, three, four of those little peg holes. So you can pop those in, put your baseboard in place as well, mix and match, move things around as needed. Included with this table is this universal metal hook. So you have the curve up top, and then you have this angled portion down here.
So this can be used pretty much wherever you want to. Either put those in those peg holes, in this extra hole here, and then this creates a hook to hang your other items to. You have this fold out hanger, so this can be used either as a support base for your fuel. Since you have to have it at a 45 degree angle, you may wanna put it in this direction. Although if you're using the Yakima cookout, it is gonna be facing that way.
Another thing this could be used as is a laundry hanger, or as a spot for maybe your dish cloth or wash rag. So some dimensions for this table is, if you have your wire hanger folded in, it's going to be from the hooks to end of the table, 31 and a half inches. For your width, it's going to be 16 and let's say a quarter inches, to give a little extra space. With this hanger out, your total width is going to be 34 and a quarter inches. So, at the end you have those hooks, which means you can attach it to the rungs of your open range.
They're secured by these knobs, so turn the knobs to tighten it onto the rung. And loosen the knobs, so that you can remove the entire table. If you have it on the Exo system, just because of how tall it is, you are kind of limited to the bottom rung, if you have it on a top shelf. But, if you're using this with the leg kit on your open range, you can actually put this pretty much wherever you want. Bottom rung, top rung, or even on the handle. These rungs are actually included with your table. So your open range doesn't have them automatically. You're gonna have to assemble them yourself. Now the reason you can't put this on a higher rung, even when you have it on the top shelf, is just because you're limited by the height of the included leg. So, this leg has two different knobs. So the first knob is gonna be used to adjust the height of the leg. So we are currently at the highest point. And then if you just twist that bottom foot and move it up and down the notches, you can adjust that height. So if you have it in its shortest setting, it's gonna be at 27 inches of height from the ground to the top of the table. We have it at its longest setting now, so that it sits it at 43 and three quarter inches off the ground. As for how this table feels, so we have this black powder coat finish. This is heat resistant metal. And when it comes to metal tables, I'm always conscious of how the edges feel. This feels very premium. I don't have any rough or sharp edges that I can feel. Everything slides and glides smoothly. Plus, you have these stoppers in the corner, which can actually be removed if needed or if you want access to the full cutout in each corner. So as you can see, with the dimensions given, this is not gonna fit inside your open range. So when you pack up your table, you're ready to hit the road again, you are gonna have to think about where you're gonna store it. You could either store it inside one of your other cargo options of your Exo system, or inside your vehicle. So if you got the base kit for the Yakima Exo open range and you just wanna pick and choose your add-ons, rather than getting everything in the deluxe kit, hopefully this video showed you the different features that this gives you. If you're gonna be using the stove a lot, or you want that heat resistant metal, great option. If you would rather have the bamboo table that has a sink or a cuttin' board, that's another option as well. You could get both, that's totally up to you. Fortunately, the Exo system is modular and gives you those options. And that right there was a look at the metal add-on table for your Yakima Exo Open Range Camp Kitchen. My name is Evangeline, and I hope you enjoyed the journey..

I'm very happy with this table for my Hiker Trailer. Easy to mount the brackets and have one for the fender and one for the galley area.
