When upgrading your 4.80x12 tires to The Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT53012C tires you can use the same 12 inch diameter by 4 inch wide rim. You will just need to make sure the larger tire fits.
This radial tire is great for highway use. It is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords. The tire has a load range C with a 6 play rating and has a maximum load of 1,050 pounds at 80 psi. The tire has a maximum speed rating up to 81 mph.

Hi, I'd like to buy radials, instead of bias ply tires, to replace the current 4.8x12 Carlisle Sport Trail LH tires on my 2004 Coachman Clipper Sport pop-up. With the current tires on, I got under it the other day and found that I have 1.5 inches of clearance from the inside sidewall of the tire, and I have about 2.5 inches of clearance from the top of the tire and all around. Do you have a recommendation? I'm a bit concerned about whether I can safely move into a larger tire size. Brian
