I have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and I would like to add a hitch so I can pull my jet ski trailer. I also need a 4-flat wiring harness for the lights. My jeep does not have the factory towing package.

The best hitch for your 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # DT78MR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Jeep's bumper bar with included hardware.

The reason I like this hitch is because it does not have a crossbar. The hitch attaches directly to your rear bumper and does not drastically affect your ground clearance like those with crossbars do.

The item # DT78MR hitch has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity and a 675 lbs tongue weight capacity. It is also great for hauling bike racks as the hitch pin sits 5-1/2" inside the outer edge of the spare tire.

Since your Jeep does not have the towing package you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 118786 to control your trailer's lights. This custom-fit connector is designed to plug into your Jeep's wiring harness behind your tail lights to provide you with a 4-flat connector. The custom plugs will only work with the Jeep Unlimited's without the towing package.
