Recommended Equalizer Upgrade For 7-3/4 Inch Wide Equalizers

Question:

i have a car trailer that the equalizers measure 7-3/4 center to center but they seem shot would like to upgrade to one of the cushioned mounts or at least greaseable bolts. do you have a recommendation

We can get you a much better equalizer to upgrade what you currently have, and for the 7-3/4 inch width, the best option is from Dexter, called the E-Z Flex:

- Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00

The E-Z Flex # K71-653-00 is for axles up to 8,000 lbs, and has a cushioned rubber core which is going to give you a much smoother, less choppy ride when towing your trailer. The reason why is the rubber core of these equalizers absorb the bounce and shock that occurs with the leaf spring suspension on a trailer.

The system also comes with wet bolts that have a grease zerk like you were wanting, so lubricating them is going to be simpler and faster.
