I am looking a installing trailer wiring on my daughters 2012 Jeep Wrangler - how can I tell if it has the factory tow package or not - to determine which kit to purchase?

If you are in need of trailer wiring it's a very safe assumption that the 2012 Jeep Wrangler does not have the tow package so the trailer wiring kit you'd want is the Tekonsha part # 118416 which installs easily by plugging inline with the taillight connectors.
