Today we're taking a look at the Yakima RoundBar Crossbar Adapter Kit. This crossbar adapter kit prevents the Yakima BigCatch carrier or saddles from rotating on your RoundBar setup. Really nice design, durable plastic construction, straight from the manufacturer so this is a Yakima product. It fits part number Y04091. It keeps your heavy fishing and sit-on-top kayaks secure to the rack. Four adapters are included.
This product is covered with a limited lifetime warranty.To loosen it up or to install it you'll need to remove this all the way. That bolt just comes right out so it's just a big clip. You can fit it directly over the RoundBar, feed the bolt through, and then the hand knob simply just threads on. Works as stated
I didn't really need this set up, just the screw on knob. I did a recovery in Anza Borrego and one of the guys took off my shovel and lost one screw on. I couldn't find just the knobs. So, now I have extras, lol I luv etrailer. Always spot on for me. :)
