Can Airlift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60754 Be Installed With Yellow Jounce Bumpers in Place
Updated 11/29/2013 | Published 11/27/2013 >
Question:
I looked at the coils on my 2008 Grand Jeep Cherokee Overland. Within the coil I see a yellow cone shape object within the coil pointing down from the top. I dont see this on other videos or pics of installation on other cars. Will this part fit despite the cone shaped device pushing into it?

The cone-shaped device you see within your rear coil springs is a jounce bumper. This will be permanently removed to allow installation of an air bag kit such as the Airlift # AL60754. The installation instructions are attached.
Please note that this kit fits the Jeep Grand Cherokee for model years 1999 through 2004 but does not fit the 2008 model year.
