T-Bolts for Channel of OEM Thule Aero Extended Cross Bars on a Subaru Outback Wilderness 2022

I plan to drill holes in my Roam Cargo Boxes and attached to my cross bars using some sort of bolt with a head that would fit into the T track of my Aero Extended cross bars. What are the best bolt options for that application? I would put a washer and nut on the bolt from the inside of the box. The bolt would be inverted.

It sounds like you are trying to find a bolt that fits in the t-track of the Subaru OEM Extended Aero bars manufactured by Thule. For that you would want to use an M6 bolt. I have listed a few M6 bolt options below, varying in length.

- Replacement Square T-Bolt # 853208914 (22mm)
- Replacement M6 x 30 mm Square Head Bolt # RR99HB (30mm)
- Replacement M6x35 Square Head Bolt # TH33RV (35mm)
- Replacement M6 x 55mm T Bolt # 1500052620 (55mm)

You can use either the Thule 2-Wing Knob #753-1897-03 which came on the Thule 725 Ski Carrier or you can use the Round Nut #853-5439 with the Mounting Kit #7533998 you have. You will need 2 of the knobs or nuts per mount or 4 total for the set.
