Question:
I have a 16’ dump trailer with 92865 on the hub, I need to either rebuild with new brakes and hub assembly or replace axles with new. What is the correct part numbers if rebuilding or would it be cheaper to replace axles? Both axles are 8 lug brake axles.

According to my research, your 92865A-1 hub/drum has a 25580 inner and an 14125A outer bearing and a 8 on 6-1/2 inch lug pattern, as does the etrailer # AKHD-865-7-2-K hub drum. Then for a brake assembly set you'd want the # 23-180-181 and you'd be set.
The hub kit comes with new bearings and seals as well as dust covers. This route is going to cost much less and be way easier than replacing the entire axle.
