I see the listed tongue weight range is 1500-3500 lbs. I have a reflection 260RD with a tongue weight of 1258 lbs. Will this still work for this smaller trailer?

Yes, the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48GR will work with your Reflection 260RD. I looked up the specs on your 5th wheel. It looks like the 1,258 lbs is when you are unloaded. Once you have your trailer loaded up and ready to tow you will be well within the 1,500 lbs- 3,500 lbs range. This Gen-Y pin box has a built-in scale so that you can check and see what your tongue weight is.
This is the only gooseneck pin box that is available to replace the Lippert Turning Point. I have linked a review video below.
You will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY49GR.
