What gauge wire is on the brake magnets? Replacement Trailer Brake Magnet Kit for 7 inch Brake Assemblies Item # BP01-068. Im rewiring and rebuilding.

The wires are 16 gauge on the Replacement Trailer Brake Magnet Kit for 7" Brake Assemblies # BP01-068.
Even with that gauge we do recommend connecting larger, 10 gauge wire for the proper voltage, which you can get with Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire - per Foot # 10-2-1 and connect with Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-5.
