Question:
Trying to install a brake controller on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee latitude. I already installed the trailer wiring kit and have a 7 pin trailer connector but they didn’t install a brake controller. I can’t find this plug in on my vehicle. Does it have one? If not where do I need to splice it in!

Sounds like your 2017 Jeep Cherokee Latitude does not have the factory brake controller wiring and an aftermarket 7-way was installed that didn't tie into any factory brake controller wiring. So your easiest solution would be to use the Curt Mobile Echo brake controller part # C51180 which would plug right into your active 7-way and once synced to your phone would be ready to tow with. To activate the 7-way what you'd need is 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 ran between the 1:00 pin of the 7-way, through a breaker like part # 9510, and then to positive post of your battery and you'd be covered.
