My technical contact at MagnaFlow believes that the MagnaFlow Muffler # MF12245 would be a good choice for your 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe with the 2.7L engine.
In order to determine an exact fit I have noted in the picture the dimensions of the muffler for you to compare to your current one. The overall measurement of this muffler, as noted in the picture, is 24 inches with the body of the muffler being 18 inches. It is 5 inches tall and 8 inches wide.
This muffler has an inlet and outlet size of 2-1/4 inches. My research has conflicting sizes on muffler sizes so measuring is going to be your best avenue.
My technical contact also told me that the MagnaFlow Universal Muffler # MF10416 that you referenced is usually used as a resonator and it would not be a good fit for your vehicle because it would produce a lot of end cap noise.
