Spare Tire For Demco Kar Kaddy SS

Question:

Been searching for any spare wheel and tire that can be used as a spare for the Demco Kar Kaddy SS. It seems that Demco has done their best to force you to buy their spare wheel, which is in the $400 range when a trailer spare should be under or near $100-200. They say that the wheel is designed to work specifically with their turning system on the dolly. Is there an alternative replacement for the wheel and tire? Thanks!

Hey Jim, I don't have much good new to provide. The dolly needs the specific offset, +42 mm, to fit properly. Everything that we currently carry would not have the proper offset that would be needed. We no longer carry the replacement but you may be able to find one online. Demcos part number would be 5968.
