Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this U-bolt plate. Now, this plate uses two 1/2-inch-in-diameter U-bolts, which are sold separately, to attach your 2-3/8-inch-diameter trailer axle to your 2-inch-wide leaf springs. Let me go ahead and give you some overall dimensions. So looking at the length first, looks like we're sitting right at 5-7/8 inches long, the width right at 4 inches.
And let me go ahead and pop a diagram up on the screen there for you. That's going to give you additional measurements that you might be looking for, and that's gonna be a little bit quicker to show you through that diagram than just putting a ruler up to all the other areas of this plate. So hopefully that's gonna prove helpful for you if you needed those measurements. You can find this diagram on this product page as well if you need to refer back to it. Just what I ordered heavy duty
The distance between the holes do not match the U-Bolts.. only a couple mm off... but off.. I am underwhelmed as I specifically asked if they would work.
I had to drill out the holes to make them bigger as the U-Bolt doesn't fit correctly as-is. Hard to show in pictures but I think you can see the issue.
I tried to upload the pictures but they would not upload so I am emailing them separately.
Fortunately, drilling the holes bigger seems to have solved the issue, but that really should not have been necessary, especially as I double checked that this plate would work with these u-bolts.
U bolts and base plates were thicker than OEM and installed flawless

These U-bolt plates worked perfectly to secure the trailer axle to the frame. I have driven the trailer both on and off road on many occasions and have seen no sign of irregularities. Highly recommend but also make sure to measure twice before you order.

The U-bolt plate is working out great. Your parts department did a great job.
Heavy duty plates. Better than I expect ed.
The zinc plating is very thin compared to the zinc plated u bolts I order with these plates other than that they are as described.
