Features to know about

Built to Handle Heavy Loads with Confidence: 1,870-lb Capacity and DOT Compliance

This 14" x 6" steel wheel is made for real-world towing duty. With a 1,870-lb capacity and sturdy steel construction, it meets Department of Transportation standards so you can trust it under load. The zero offset keeps the wheel centered over the hub, giving a balanced footprint when carrying weight.

Fights Corrosion Year After Year: Galvanized Steel Finish

Saltwater, rain, and road grime can ruin a lesser wheel. This one uses a galvanized finish that resists rust and corrosion far better than bare or painted steel. It stays shiny and easy to clean thanks to the protective zinc layer that seals out moisture, making it ideal when long-term durability matters most.

Made for Straightforward Fitment: 5 on 4-1/2" Bolt Pattern with 3.19" Pilot

No guessing about compatibility here. The wheel uses the common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern with a 3.19" pilot diameter and accepts standard 1/2"-20 bolts. That combination delivers simple mounting and dependable alignment on standard hubs without extra adapters or modifications.

Ready for Reliable Use Right Away: Valve Stem Included

Everything you need for setup is built in. The wheel includes a 0.453" valve stem, so once your tire is mounted and aired up, it’s ready to roll. It’s a straightforward piece of hardware that saves time and gets you back on the road faster without hunting for small parts.

Built Tough for Everyday Towing: Modular Design with Balanced Strength

The modular spoke design isn’t just for looks—it adds strength where it counts while keeping weight down to a manageable level. The 14-inch size pairs easily with common trailer tires like ST205/75R14 or ST215/75R14, giving you flexibility to match your load and terrain while keeping a solid, balanced stance every trip.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Video Transcript for Review of Americana Trailer Tires and Wheels - Wheel Only - AM20364

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Americana 14-inch by 6-inch galvanized modular design steel trailer wheel with a five on 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is designed for use in marine applications. The wheel is a sturdy steel construction, has the modular design, which when we say modular design, that's the one that has the round holes all the way around the wheel. And we mention it's a galvanized finish on the wheel that's designed to protect the wheel from rust and corrosion when unloading your boat in the water. This galvanized finish is not the best looking finish, but it is the best finish for protection.

It is a high-quality wheel, does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. Now, if you notice, it does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on a website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause you're a center cap will install into this hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19-inches.

Now we are gonna measure the diameter and the width of the wheel. And the diameter, when you measure on a wheel, is always inside to inside. Because what you're measuring is the, where the tire bead will seat on the wheel, the tire bead seat right here. So you're measuring bead seat to bead seat. So the diameter on this, if we put a tape measure on it, you'll be able to see there's your 14-inch diameter.

The width is the same way you're measuring bead seat to bead seat. So inside to inside, there's your 6-inch width. And we mentioned the bolt pattern on this is a five on 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern. If you wanna measure a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs, in this case, five. What you have to do is pick one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these.

But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. So on this, if we measured it be 4-1/2-inches, so that means it's a five lug, 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of 1/2-inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 1,870 pounds. Now also always remember that if you have any questions regarding this product, please don't hesitate to contact us via phone chat or email or if you've even purchased this product, please send us pictures of it being used. But that's gonna do it for the review on the Americana 14-inch by 6-inch galvanized modular design steel trailer wheel with the five on 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern.

Was surprised by several short sharp protrusions on inside of rims that is of no consequence for tubeless tires, but would require grinding off if tubes are used. Otherwise look good and expect much longer life than from former painted rims that rusted rather quickly.

by:

Excellent quality. Matches my other wheels on boat trailer perfectly. I hit something with wheel and damage bead area, was going to weld it up but why not buy new from etrailer. Best price anywhere and Fast shipping. 2 days from when ordered it was at my door.

by:

Even though I returned the wheels which was my fault, I ordered the wrong ones. I've ordered from etrailer.com before, and the ordering and shipping were excellent.

Crystal and Hally were great to deal with, very clear and professional. Hally had a return label for me within seconds.

Bottom line, all transactions were made very simple, thank you.

by:

Great wheel for the price. I bought this for a spare tire for the boat trailer. Looks better than the old running wheels.

by:

We ordered the tire and rim for our boat trailer as a spare. It matched the original as was planned. It came quick to our home. We were very satisfied

by:

appearance and quality were excellent. wheels and tires were a good fit for, this utility trailer, Thanks Elias

by:

This product is the same as the picture. My EZ Loader trailer came with 4 of these and I wanted to find the same pattern and I did at etrailer. Thank you

by:

Needed a spare tire and rim for our camper. Local trailer dealer recommended Etrailer. Ordered on Friday and delivered on Tuesday with the weekend being Easter. Haven’t mounted them yet but looks perfect.

by:

Excellent product (hot dipped galvanized utility trailer wheel) - just what I needed for a high corrosion environment. Excellent service with very speedy delivery. Very patient customer service rep on a follow-up phone call to question a possible error I made on the initial order. I will do business again!

by:

So I bought this so I’d have a spare for my boat trailer. Like two weeks after buying my boat I got a flat and didn’t have a spare. Was able to patch it up but that’s a different story. This was actually an exact match to the rims that were already on the trailer. With this rim I was able to make a spare so that way we don’t have to worry about not having one.

by:

I ordered 2 galvanized rims and valve stems. Delivered on time and good quality.
These rims will be used on tires that will be dumped and exposed to salt water. Time will tell if the galvanizing holds up. The valve stems which I ordered will be used on my camping trailer. These valve stems are rated at 100 psi and appear to have good quality. I would not hesitate to order from etrailer. This was my second order and both orders were excellent.

by:

What a great experience with etrailer! Their customer service is exceptional.
Shortly after I placed my order, I realized that I had inadvertently ordered the wrong item. They got it straightened out for me and were very professional in assisting me with ordering the correct items.

by:

The wheels run true when mounted on a balancer. Finish is shiny and blotchy as one would expect from a new hot dipped galvanized product. One rim arrived with a bent lip on the outside rim, but the bead was true and it will work fine. Tire should be mounted with bead sealer because the galvanizing is a bit rough and will likely leak air if not sealed. I have had similar issues on other GalvanIzed wheels.

by:

Wow! Great easy buying experience... I pull a tandem axle bass boat trailer every where and needed to replace one of the four galvanized rims.. etrailer.com had exactly what I need at a great price and two and a half days later it was on my doorstep. I appreciate that sense of urgency to get it out the door the same day I ordered it... glad to know I have a source for any trailer parts I might need in the future. Thanks

by:

Would have been excellent but the wheels finish has some rough spots.

by:

Ordered 5 galvanized wheels #AM20364, Dexstar Mini Mod Wheels, to replace the rusted wheels on my Forest River Rockwood Travel Trailer. The online video showing how to measure the wheels for sizing was perfect. My representative Marcia, provided great service and answered my questions. Free shipping, what a bonus!!!! I will order again from etrailer.com Thank you!!! 5 STARS IN MY BOOK.

Still working every day

by:

My only "issue" was the galvanized coating. It was sloppy and rough on 2 of the wheels I received. It required a little work to smooth out the area around the tire seat/bead. However, I do like the galvanized coating. It has held up well to the elements with no issues, and looks much nicer than the usual rusted wheels you see on trailers.
Overall I am happy and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

by:

Rims meet and exceed my expectations. Great price and free shipping. Ordered around noon on Thursday and rims were delivered today (Saturday).
etrailer, you guys rock!!

Fast service. Wheel looked just like OE M.

by:

Everything was great!!

by:

Purchased 1 wheel 2 years ago. Purchased 2 more to replace the old trailer rims that were having issues. Very happy with ETrailer. I have purchased items for my RV as well. Good quality at a fair price.

by:

Awesome customer service and very prompt delivery of my wheels. Ordered on a Sunday evening wheels were delivered Wednesday afternoon. (14” galvanized trailer wheels) I definitely give etrailer a 5 star rating! Cleveland Ohio

by:

The rims were as advertised. Was nice to find the correct size (width rim) when most available galvanized rims are on the minimum width size for a 205/75 tire size.

by:

While this product showed up 2 days past the estimated delivery day, it worked and fit the trailer as indicated. However, the finish on the wheel is extremely flawed with bumpy and dull appearance.

  • Is It Okay to Use a Trailer Wheel with a Bigger Center Hole Than Old Wheel Had
Hey Tom, as long as your current wheels are held on with lug nuts and not wheel bolts that screw into the hub having a larger pilot diameter wheel like the part # AM20364 would be just fine. Lug nuts are designed to center the wheel so having a larger pilot diameter would not be an issue. If the wheel uses wheel bolts instead the wheel is centering on the center hole so then it is vital that the diameter is an exact match.

  • Availability Of 14" x 6" Aluminum Rims For Travel Trailer
Hello Richard, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a few 14 x 6 trailer rims, but nothing in aluminum. What we have are all steel wheels with 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. If you want something rust proof for a boat trailer, a galvanized wheel would be out best option for that. Here is what we have: - Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 14" x 6" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized Finish # AM20354 - Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel - 14" x 6" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized Finish # AM20364 - Taskmaster Vesper...

  • Which is a Better Wheel to Use in Saltwater - Steel, Galvanized, or Aluminum
Although the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20315 has a e-coat primer and black powder coat finish, this is option is much more prone to rust over an aluminum or galvanized rim. The powder coat finish is mainly for common trailer use so it doesn't have to be as resistant since saltwater typically isn't in the equation. When it comes to a good, better, best for saltwater resistance the powder coat doesn't really make the cut. Better is a galvanized finish like the 14" x 6" Americana...
