Will Boat Trailer Lights Draw Too Much Power for T-One Wiring on a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder
Updated 08/24/2022 | Published 08/23/2022 >
Question:
Will TH58VR work on a boat trailer with regular 1157 bulbs or is the amperage draw to high and the trailer would need to be converted to led lights

Helpful Expert Reply:
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK58VR for your 2022 Nissan Pathfinder has the following max amp ratings:
Stop/turn lights: 5 amps per circuit
Tail lights: 7.5 amps per circuit
This is sufficient for standard trailer lighting whether it's LEDs or incandescent lights. The only time you'll need to worry about overdrawing is if you've added a LOT of extra lights to your boat trailer. If you'd like to still check on the amperage of your boat trailer you can test the draw of each of your lights to make sure they don't exceed the numbers listed above.
