Question:
Hello how much can a Honda Accord 2018 sport 1.5L tow?

Expert Reply:
According to the owners manual for your 2018 Honda Accord with the 1.5L engine, "your vehicle is not designed to tow a trailer. Attempting to do so can void your warranties." Only the 2.0L models are rated for towing up to 1,000lbs.
If you decide you still wish to tow or have a hitch mounted accessory to carry the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11525 is the one I recommend. This class I receiver has a 1-1/4" opening for hitch mounted accessories or ball mounts. Curt recommends the 1-7/8" Ball Mount # C45561 or 2" Ball Mount # C45562 with the Pin and Clip # F-4.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118776 will give you a 4-way flat connector. This will allow you to connect to small trailers or use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 for any hitch mounted accessories that impair the view of your tail lights.
