The difference between the two bike racks is the width of the wheel hoops of either rack. The Curt 4 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes # C18087-FB can fit bike tires that are up to 4.88 inches in width whereas the part # C18087 can only fit tires that are up to 3 inches in width.
