Are There Any Troubleshooting Steps For A MaxxAir MaxxFan Rain Sensor

Question:
My top # MA00-04500K won’t close when it rain but if I touch it with water or squirt water on it it will close. I can touch it with water or squirt water on it when it is raining then it will close. I unhooked it for the battery then reconnected it but no change. Please give me some troubleshooting tips. Thanks

There really isn't any troubleshooting that you can do with a MaxxAir Rain Sensor besides just making sure the vent has a full 12v of power and that the rain sensor cable isn't damaged and is fully plugged in. If it isn't working properly all you can really do is simply replace it with # MA34FR.
